Greenman T-shirt Design

With this project, I was commissioned to design a t-shirt and poster for the 2019 Green Man Festival in Greenbelt, Maryland. The board of directors had an idea for the theme of together we are one. They wanted to feature the Green Man and Daya in a way that reflected the theme. I am a massive fan of Alphonse Mucha, and I took much of my inspiration for this design from his style.

I was so thrilled when my fellow Second City Alum Jameelah Shelo reached out to me and asked if I would illustrate a Children's she had written. Laith the Lion goes to Palestine is about a sweet little lion cub who goes on a magical journey to his homeland. While there, he makes new friends, plays soccer, and learns about his culture. It was not only a dream come true of mine to illustrate a children's book, but I also got to learn about Jameele's and Laith's culture as I researched the traditional dress, landscapes and, how to write in Arabic for some of the Illustrations.

Custom Portrait 2020

This little girl had to make room for her new baby brother, and her parents wanted her new bedroom to be so awesome that she would not miss her old bedroom. I asked what her favorite things were, and it went as followed, rainbows, unicorns, and her new bike. So, it was no question that her portrait had to include all three.

Tank Girl 2019

I love Jamie Hewlett and grew up a fan of his comic Tank Girl, even though I was much too young to be reading it, I hid the comics under my bed and used to trace over his artwork to learn how to draw like him. In the end, I created my own style but always tipped my hat to him for being an inspiration to me over the years.

Beer Lable Mockup 2018

The Client was looking for a way to make this soon-to-be Hawaiian-based brewery unique in its presence and branding. I created a mockup inspired by local Hawaiian folklore with characters like Kanaloa, Pele, and Namaka.
